I like singing, reading, socialising, fishing, goin to watch my beloved liverpool (though i don't do that enough), watching most sports, and travelling. I'm passionate about nature, my family and my friends. I am currently an Assistant Manager at the St Helens branch of Clarks (yes, i sell shoes *whoop!*)
About David
David is a fervent Evertonian, and is a season ticket holder at Goodison Park (our house is SO much fun on derby day!) He enjoys playing as well as watching football, watching all sorts of other sports (he is currently teaching me about American Football - good luck to him!) Currently he is a qualified Healthcare Assistant for Boots in Liverpool, and is about to undergo a dispensary course, which we are both really excited about!
How They Met
We met in late 2003 when I became the Team Leader at the Clarks in Birkenhead, where David was a Stockroom Assistant. It definitely wasn't love at first sight - I believe my first words to him were 'I hear you're an everton supporter, they're s***!' (must have made an impression though!) 2 years of arguing/flirting later and love blossomed on David's 21st birthday night-out.
The Proposal
I was whisked off to a table at Ask in Liverpool where wehad a fantastic meal, then it was a short walk up to the Albert Dock where we sat on a bench overlooking the Mersey as the sun went down (alltogether, 'awwwwww!'
. It was there that I was presented with a beatutiful platinum ring with 3 little sparkly diamonds... that was 3 sizes too big for me! (and this wasn't even David's fault - I had told him what I thought was my ring size a few weeks earlier as I thought I might be getting jewelry for Christmas!)
